The United Kingdom is getting more and more popular as a top destination for gourmet. Especially the big cities of United Kingdom serve world cuisine, as good as any one can find in Europe, although they may be expensive. Something like roast beef or fish and chips are very popular traditional dishes of the United Kingdom. Fish and chips involve cod or haddock with thick potato chips, served along with mushy peas (England) or dressed with malt vinegar and salt (Scotland).
